Description and Summary of the CPD activity:
This practical, trade-focused CPD activity builds on the general plumbing installation standards already familiar to registered plumbers, and applies them to the specific demands of domestic and light commercial water treatment and filtration systems. While SANS 241 sets the water quality that must be achieved, this activity focuses on the design, installation and commissioning decisions — media selection, system sizing, sequencing, pressure and flow considerations, and commissioning checks — that determine whether that quality is actually delivered and sustained in practice.
