Solar PC (Pumped Circulation) Water Heating Systems use solar energy to heat water by circulating a fluid between solar collectors and a storage tank using an electric pump. Unlike passive systems, Solar PC systems offer better control and efficiency, especially in larger buildings or shaded installations. Key components include flat plate or evacuated tube collectors, a circulation pump, a temperature controller, and an insulated storage tank. These systems are ideal for locations with varying roof orientations or where the storage tank cannot be placed above the collectors. Proper installation, sizing, and periodic maintenance ensure long-term energy savings and reliable hot water supply.

Please note 1: this is NOT a complete installation training course, but only a supplement to the full installation manual.

Please note 2: installation of the Elon® 100 should ONLY be performed by an electrical contractor registered with the Department of Labour (the so-called “wireman’s licence”) and strictly according to the installation instructions in the installation manual.
