How the coc works
A PIRB COC is a declaration by the licensed plumber confirming that work completed meets professional and industry standards.
When is a COC Required
- For all plumbing work carried out by a licensed plumber
- In accordance with PIRB COC issuing requirements
- Includes, but not limited to; geysers, Solar water installations, and heat pumps
Who is the COC Issued to?
- The top copy is issued to the property owner
- The second copy is submitted to local authorities, municipalities, and/or insurance (if required)
- The final copy is kept by the licensed plumber for record-keeping and administration
