ServCraft Africa – Price for Profit: Costing Plumbing Jobs Correctly for a Sustainable Business

Description and Summary of the CPD activity:
Price for Profit is a ServCraft Mastery session built for plumbing business
owners who want to stop under–pricing their work and start running a
financially sustainable business. The session is delivered in partnership
with Plumblink and forms part of the ServCraft Mastery education series.
This CPD activity covers two delivery formats of the same content in May
2026:
● Online session, 20 May 2026 (1 hour via Zoom)
● In–person session, 28 May 2026 (2 hours, at Plumblink
Woodmead branch)
The session addresses one of the most common reasons plumbing
businesses fail in South Africa: pricing jobs based on what is visible
(materials and a rough labour estimate) while ignoring the hidden costs
that quietly erode profit. These include vehicle costs, PIRB compliance,
tools, admin time, and the owner’s own non–billable hours.
